Seasonal Hours of Operation
During April through September, the Landfill's hours are:
- Monday through Friday
7 am to 3 pm - First Saturday of the month
8 to Noon
During October through March, the Landfill's winter hours are:
- Mondays through Fridays
7 am to 3 pm - Saturdays

Fees
Landfill tipping fees will be $11 per cubic yard, effective January 1, 2022.
Effective November 1, 2022, Wilson County Landfill rates will be as follows:
- Construction/Demo Waste: $18 per cubic yard
- Shingles: $100 per ton
- Residential Yardwaste(small): $5 per cubic yard
Terms
All loads must be checked into the scale house 30 minutes prior to closing.
All public waste disposal activities must be complete and have exited the facility by 3 pm each day due to scheduled maintenance.
All loads entering the landfill must be tarped. Loads that are not tarped will be turned away.
Special Items
Electronic Waste
Dispose of your television, old computers, computer package, microwave, etc. at the Wilson County Landfill.
Shingles
Shingles are currently $70 a ton at the Wilson County Landfill. Effective November 1, 2022, shingles will be $100 per ton.
