The mission of the Wilson County Emergency Management Department is to provide a high quality of life for residents and visitors of Wilson County by providing protection of life and property, immediate and advanced pre-hospital care for the sick and injured, and the mitigation of man-made and natural emergencies.

Sheriff
The Sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer in the County by State statute. His responsibilities include law enforcement, administration of the jail, Superintendent of the Work House, and security of the courts.

The Stormwater Department oversees stormwater operations and the mitigation of stormwater runoff.

The Wilson County Trustee collects real property, tangible personal property, and ad valorem taxes from the general public.

The mission of Veteran's Services is to serve Wilson County veterans and their families with dignity and compassion and to be the veterans' advocate by ensuring they receive quality care, support, entitlements, and the recognition earned in their service to the nation.
